Moorsands’ enviable position affords magnificent views, as above, and exploits our favourable micro-climate, whilst being only five minutes walk from Devon’s best surfing beach or the picturesque village of Croyde.

Much wildlife can be seen; there is National Trust coast nearby and Moorsands is within the Braunton Burrows UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve.  We  try  to be environmentally  friendly -  you

will find organic and/or local produce included in Faith's superb breakfasts. Surf, bathe, walk, ride (horses or bikes!), tour, etc., or peacefully  relax with our comfortable en-suite rooms, sun terrace and beautiful surroundings.  Our warm welcome awaits you.

Why did we leave the Star System?

Two main reasons:  

1. Quality in Tourism decided that en-suites had to be a certain size to attract a four star rating.  Ours would not qualify so we would  lose a star.

2.  We are a small establishment and with the reduction in business due to the recession the QIT fees would represent a 50p premium on every bed night.  We think our clients would prefer our value to be at least maintained rather than seeing stars.
