Where We Are

Croyde is a picture postcard village with much traditional Devon thatch.   At the centre of  North Devon’s Golden Coast, the 8 mile stretch of beaches north of the Taw/Torridge estuary,  Croyde has the best surfing beach in Devon.

The combination of high rocky headlands and vast sandy beaches makes for some of the most beautiful scenery in the West Country. Much of it is protected by the National Trust.  The dune system nature reserves including Croyde Burrows, and indeed, Moorsands itself, are within the Braunton Burrows UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve.  Many  species of wildlife can be observed from the house or its vicinity.

All that surf and no surfers!
